The pulverized coal distributors produced by Xiangye Environmental Protection Company are available in the following styles: bottle type, ball type, disc type, cone type (inclined angle type), and curved branch pipe type. Classified by the material of the branch pipes, there are wear-resistant alloy type, wear-resistant ceramic type, stainless steel type and other types, which are respectively used in different working conditions. There are two connection methods: flange and threaded joint.
This new type of pulverized coal distributor is a cone-type distributor, which is an upgraded product of the old bottle-type, disc-type and ball-type distributors. Generally, the branch pipes of disc-type and bottle-type distributors are horizontally distributed. Since the pulverized coal injection system transports pulverized coal through air flow with a certain pressure, it causes relatively large wear on equipment. In the past, some pulverized coal distributors had a throat structure with large resistance; some had unreasonable inner cavity structures, leading to pulsation of pulverized coal during passage and unstable pulverized coal injection volume; some had uneven distribution of pulverized coal injection volume; some had severe wear on distributor equipment, etc.
The pulverized coal distributor consists of a main pipe, a main body (cone type, disc type, bottle type) and each branch pipe. Each branch pipe is evenly distributed above the main body. For the cone type, each branch pipe is distributed at an inclined angle (90 degrees or 120 degrees). The pulverized coal injection branch pipes (8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18) are evenly distributed around the upper part of the distributor main body. The lower end of the distributor is connected to one end of the coal conveying main pipe, and the upper branch pipes of the distributor are connected to each pulverized coal lance. This product is made of carbon steel structural parts, with precise processing and high geometric accuracy. The cone inner cavity has a simple structure, small volume, light weight and easy maintenance.
The control accuracy of pulverized coal injection volume at each tuyere of this distributor can reach ±3% of the large pulverized coal injection volume, which fully ensures the uniform combustion of the raceway around the blast furnace hearth. The flow rate of fluid in the pulverized coal distributor is the same as that in the pipeline, with small wear and long service life. The pulverized coal injection distributor has no throat structure, resulting in small resistance loss, and avoids the phenomenon of throat blockage and the decrease of distribution accuracy caused by uneven throat wear. This pulverized coal distributor is suitable for pulverized coal conveying systems under various gas-solid ratios of blast furnace pulverized coal injection systems, and can be used for both dilute phase conveying and dense phase conveying.

The cone inner cavity has a simple structure, small volume, light weight and easy maintenance. The main body of the pulverized coal distributor is a cone-shaped inner cavity, and the sum of the outlet areas of each branch pipe is similar to the area of the inlet channel. By utilizing the gas flow characteristics, when the supplemented high-pressure solid-gas flow enters the inner cavity, a strong vortex is formed, wrapping the pulverized coal and distributing it evenly to each branch pipe. The pulsation during conveying is small, the injection is stable and reliable, and it can reach the ideal flow rate for users. There is no swirl or pulsation when pulverized coal flows through the distributor.
